Our client is the Swiss trading office of an international group active in the metals industry. To support its small commercial team in Zug region, we are looking for a hands-on and motivated

(Junior) Traffic Operator 60 - 80%

This role is also ideal for professionals returning to work or junior candidates who are looking for an international environment with the opportunity to learn and develop.

Your responsibilities

Handling and monitoring sales & purchase contracts
Coordinating shipments, loading/discharging and documentation
Liaising with customers, suppliers, banks, agents and surveyors
Supporting Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and documentary collections
Monitoring deadlines, quality reports and claims

Your profile

You bring a commercial background and exposure to international trade, logistics, shipping.

Knowledge of Letters of Credit and Incoterms is an advantage – but motivation and willingness to learn are just as important.

You are organised, reliable, flexible and enjoy working independently in a small international team.
