Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Our customer is a young and dynamic Biotech company focusing on developing technologies to generate antimicrobial properties to a range of surfaces and substrates. Currently they are represented in Europe, the USA, Asia, and the Middle East. The company has a fast-growing portfolio of projects with a range of premium companies.
To strenghten the Regulatory Affairs team at the HQ in Zug/Swwitzerland and reporting to SVP Regulatory Affairs, we are looking for a young dynamic person as
Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist
to cope with European regulations and coordinate activities with local regulatory representatives, external consultants, and regulatory support in purchasing, production, and R&D. Work location will be in the Headquarters in Zug / Switzerland or can also be remotly (EU countries).
Accountabilities
- responsible for compliance chemical legislation with a focus on biocides, e.g. BPR, REACH, GHS,
- Provision and maintenance of internal and external security documentation for our products (e.g. MSDS, TDS, operating instructions, labelling, documentation for compliance)
- Responsibility for preparing, implementing, communicating, and coordinating regulatory projects and work closely with clients and authorities
- Responsible for registration and notification of industrial chemicals according to the local (and international) regulatory frameworks and develop and maintain regulatory knowledge of European frameworks
- Strategic coordination of global regulatory aspects
- Interaction with the Technology and Business Development teams in developing a regulatory strategy
- Support clites regarding regulatory projects, manage ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- BA / MA in Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology
- 1-3 years of experience in the chemical/medical devices/consumer goods industry or within a consultancy company.
- Working experience in registration/notification of biocidal products (e.g., BPR, REACH, Disinfectants) or in a related regulatory field such as Regulatory Affairs, product stewardship.
- English proficient, German fluently is an advantage
- Flexibility and ability to think and act beyond the borders of RA
- EU passport or Swiss work permit
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, multi-cultural compatibility
- Motivated and self-driven attitude
- Experience with project management is beneficial
