Finance Business Analyst

Our client is a major midstream Energy Supply & Trading company, headquartered in Zug area with subsidiaries and sites in Europe.

The company has a sizable program to deliver business solutions to internal departments as Finance, HR, Communications and Legal.

To strengthen the team and the delivery capability in the space of finance solutions, we are looking for a


Finance Business Analyst


The role will report to the Business Solutions Lead and will be actively managing significant implementations of finance projects but also in close contact with other departments and business teams to collect and document business requirements. Together with his line manager, this role will also be engaged in solution definition and potential vendor selection for new applications.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document requested business needs/requirements from stakeholders
  • Investigate and propose potential IT solutions in line with the strategic IT roadmap
  • Execute or lead needed project analysis or vendor selection processes in close corporation with IT finance lead
  • Manage project delivery of process standardization, simplification and automation
  • Prepare Steering committee update meetings
  • Manage project cost and timeline
  • Liaise with stakeholders, from local users to senior group leaders
  • Ensure operational project execution and post go-live support intact

Your Professional Qualifications:


  • 3 – 5 years of experience in business analytics around finance core processes, i.e. procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report
  • Significant experience (5 years+) around finance core processes, i.e. procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report
  • BA / Masters Degree with a major in finance or IT
  • Experience with projects around ERP systems a plus, e.g. upgrades, implementations, developments
  • Consultancy experience (big 4, others) a plus
  • Experience in fast growing and corporate environment a must, experience in the oil industry a plus
  • Fluency in English. German, French and/or Dutch is a plus
  • Very good MS Office skills (Standard applications, visio, project)
